ATTENDING A BOARD MEETING

NPAC is a 501(c)(3) club, and its Board Meetings are closed/private meetings. However, meeting notes become available to the public once they have been reviewed and approved at the following month's meeting.

In accordance with Robert's Rules of Order and NPAC's meeting procedures, anyone who would like to attend a Board Meeting should email the President a minimum of two days before the scheduled meeting. The email should clearly state the topic or matter they would like to discuss.

The President will then add the topic to the upcoming meeting agenda and formally invite the individual to attend the meeting.

Each Board Meeting begins with 15 minutes of open discussion, during which invited individuals may address the Board regarding the topic submitted in advance.

Following the open discussion period, the meeting will return to closed session for the remainder of the scheduled meeting.

This process helps ensure that Board Meetings remain organized, respectful of the Board's responsibilities, and consistent with NPAC's established procedures.
